Our Website contains a members area that is hosted by Ning Inc. (“Ning”) on it’s own platform. Our Privacy Policy will apply to our collection and use of the personal information you provide in accessing the members area.
You can access the Website without registering, but you have to apply to register, and have your application accepted by us, in order to access the Members’ area of the Website. When you apply to register, we will ask for your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, areas of interest, country of residence and other details as set out in the online registration form.
A separate privacy policy shall also apply to your use of the Members Area, regarding Ning’s collection and use of your personal information which can be accessed here http://www.newbrandtribalism.com/terms-of-use/. The Ning platform is hosted in the United States of America and does not provide equivilent user protections as can be found in the Data Protection Act 1998. In using the members area you consent to the storage, processing and use of your data under the terms of Ning’s privacy policy.
IMPORTANT: all the above information, apart from your email address and phone number, will be available for all other registered members of the Website to view as part of the members’ contact directory. You can choose to make your email address and/or your phone number available in the members’ contact directory at any time by accessing your user profile and changing your privacy settings. You may update your user profile by accessing it at any time. You may only remove your user profile altogether by ending your membership of the Website by emailing us to that effect at . Although only registered members can view your contact details, please remember we have no control over what they do with those details, and are not responsible for what they do with them.
